Summer Series

There’s no lie, summertime is my favourite season. The freedom of just walking out unencumbered, long days, the heat of the sun, there’s just something so beautiful about the season. While doing my residency in the summer of 2024 where I took a deep dive into the way plants communicate with each other and the way they manipulate their environment, my fun ‘free time paint project’ was to paint some moments of close looking at some core memories of summer moments that evoke that feeling of freedom. Road trips, kiddie pools, days at the beach and dining al fresco do it for me.
